What Is ZenICE?
ZenICE combines evidence-based mindfulness techniques with the transformative power of cold. In four progressive modules, you learn to consciously regulate your nervous system – and apply what you've learned directly in cold water.
This is training that teaches you to meet discomfort with presence – in the ice bath and in life.
The Science Behind It
Grounded in research and proven methodologies:
Mindfulness techniques inspired by MBSR - Developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and now one of the most extensively researched mindfulness programmes.
Dr. Susanna Søeberg – Metabolic researcher and founder of the Søeberg Institute, bringing the science of deliberate cold exposure
ZenICE combines mindfulness and deliberate cold exposure to help you move from resistance to acceptance - turning the ice into a practical training space for inner steadiness.
What Happens During a Session?

Program based on Module
1. Body Scan: Systematically sense your body – the foundation for everything else.
2. Breath as Anchor: Regulate your nervous system through breath – your most important tool.
3. Working with Discomfort: "Unpack" stress and cold instead of fighting against it.
4. Integration & Self-Compassion: Bring it all together – and transform the inner critic.

ZenICE - 4 Modules
This is a progressive journey over four sessions:
Each workshop builds on the previous one
Participants deepen trust, awareness, and regulation
The cold becomes familiar, not intimidating
Total duration: 8 hours
Format: 4 × 2 hour sessions
Group size: Small, personal, and supportive.
